- By default, Telegram notifies you whenever a new contact joins the platform.
- On your iPhone, go to the Settings tab > Notifications and Sounds > disable New Contacts.
- On Android, tap on your profile picture at the top right > go to Settings > Notifications and Sounds > disable Contacts joined Telegram.
How to Disable Notifications for New Contacts on Telegram
On iPhone
Open the Telegram app and go to the Settings tab. Select Notifications and Sounds and disable New Contacts.
On Android
Step 1: Tap on your profile picture at the top right and select Settings .
Step 2: Select Notifications and Sounds > disable Contacts joined Telegram .
