- Go to Settings > Contacts > Accounts and turn off Gmail to remove Google Contacts from your iPhone.
- To remove a specific contact – go to the Lists menu in the Contacts app, select Gmail, and delete the contact from the list.
- To prevent new contacts on your iPhone from syncing to Google, go to Settings > Contacts > Default Account and change the service.

How to Prevent New Contacts from Syncing to Google
