- Publishing from Instagram business works for Facebook business pages only.
- Linking Facebook to Instagram will not publish your Facebook posts to Instagram automatically.
- You must relink the pages if you switch between Personal or Business Instagram.
Link Instagram to Facebook Page
Before following these steps, ensure you are the admin (owner) of the Facebook page you want to link with Instagram. You must also have an Instagram business account.
Step 1. Tap the Profile icon , select See More , and tap Pages . Then, select the Page you have created, and it will instantly switch to that page; if it doesn’t, look for a Switch option.
Step 2. Your profile will change to your Facebook page. At the top right corner, tap on the Page profile icon > Gear icon (Settings option) on the right.
Step 3. Scroll down and tap on Linked Accounts under Permissions. Select View on the right > tap Connect Account .
Connect Instagram to Facebook Page From Instagram
Step 1. Open your Instagram profile > tap on Edit Profile .
Step 2. Tap on Connect or Create on the right.
Step 3. Select Continue > tap on Login to Facebook . After selecting the Facebook Page, tap on Connect .
How to Properly Connect Instagram to Facebook Profile
There’s only one way to Link Instagram to a Facebook Profile: by adding them to the same Account Center. After doing so, you can send stories and posts from your Instagram Account to your Facebook profile.
Step 1. Select your profile icon at the bottom right > tap on the hamburger menu > on the screen, select Account Center . If this option doesn’t show, tap on Security and Privacy .
Step 2. At the bottom, select Account > Add Accounts > tap on Add Facebook Account > Continue . Follow the on-screen instructions to add the profile.
If you connect Instagram to your Facebook page, ensure you are the administrator of the page you want to connect with. If the problem persists, check whether your Instagram account is a business account.
If you have linked your Facebook page with your Instagram account, you can share posts from Facebook to Instagram automatically by selecting some options. You can also add your Instagram and Facebook accounts to the same Account Center to post directly from Instagram to Facebook.
