- On mobile, open WhatsApp > Settings > Linked Device > Log out.
- On the desktop, open WhatsApp > Log out.

Log Out Linked Devices From WhatsApp on Desktop
The WhatsApp Desktop app also lets you access your chats and answer audio or video calls on your Mac and Windows PC. You can just log out of your desktop using WhatsApp instead of removing other linked devices.
On Mac
Open WhatsApp > click the down arrow icon and then Log Out .
On Windows
Open WhatsApp > Settings > General > Log out .
Tip: If you are in the middle of an internet outage, you can still gain access to your chats using WhatsApp Proxy . You can connect WhatsApp to a proxy server and use it offline.
