Method 1: Use the Water Eject Shortcut

Shortcuts on iPhone are an excellent utility. You can install the Water Eject shortcut to conveniently knock out water from your iPhone speakers.

Step 1: Open the Water Eject shortcut page in Safari and tap Get Shortcut .

Step 2: Select Add Shortcut and tap the installed ‘ Water Eject ‘ to run it.

Step 3: Tap Start and select your desired Intensity Level for ejecting water from your iPhone’s speakers. You’ll notice sound wave vibrations helping to remove the trapped water.

Method 2: Eject Water Using a Water Ejector Website

If you don’t wish to install shortcuts, use the water-ejecting website ‘Fix My Speakers’ to eject water from your iPhone.

Open the Safari app and access the Fix My Speakers website. Tap the Eject Water button to play a loud sound, expelling trapped water from your iPhone’s speakers.

Method 3: Play a Loud Noise to Expel Water

Besides the Fix My Speaker website, you can play a loud sound in the YouTube app to effectively eject water from any electronic device such as an iPhone or an Apple watch.

Step 1: Open the YouTube app, search ‘ 165 hertz to remove water ‘, and tap the first search result.

Step 2: Let the sound play at the maximum volume on your iPhone and pause it after a few minutes. Repeat the step a few times to ensure all trapped water gets ejected.

Method 4: Dry out the Charging Port

If your iPhone shows a ‘ Liquid detected in connector ‘ warning while plugging it in for charging, dry it by placing it in a jar of rice or silica gel packets for at least twenty-four hours. This will absorb all the moisture from the charging port and speakers.

Tip: Silica gel is a good moisture absorbent and usually comes in tiny little packets inside electronic gadget boxes.
