• Windows: Uninstall Discord via Control Panel > Programs > Uninstall or change a program.
  • Mac: Delete the Discord app from the Applications folder, then manually remove residual files from the ~/Library directories.
  • Android: Uninstall Discord from Settings > Apps & notifications > See all apps > Discord > Uninstall.
  • iOS: Remove Discord through Settings > General > iPhone Storage > Discord > Delete App.

How to Completely Uninstall Discord From Windows

Note : We are running on a Windows 11 machine. However, the steps will remain the same for Windows 10 or lower.

Step 1 : Press the Windows key on your keyboard, type Control Panel , and click Open .

How to Completely Delete Discord from Mac

Ensure Discord isn’t running in the background before removing it from your Mac. Now, follow the below-mentioned steps.

Step 1 : Open Finder from the Dock.

Step 3 : Locate the Discord app you want to delete. Right-click on its icon and choose Move to Bin .

How to Remove Discord from Android

Note : For this guide, we will use the OnePlus 7T running on Android 12.

Step 1 : Open Settings , scroll down, and tap on Apps & notifications .

Step 1 : Go to Settings and tap on General .

Step 2 : Scroll down and click on iPhone Storage , and from the list of apps, tap on Discord .

The # symbol is used to designate a user’s unique 4-digit Discord tag, which is assigned automatically by Discord. When a user deletes their Discord account permanently, their Discord tag is removed. So, no, deleted Discord users do not have #0000.

If you cannot disable Discord from starting automatically, there might be a glitch on your Windows system. It could also be because the system administrator could have disabled the option.

The Discord file’s location depends on the operating system and how you installed it. However, if you haven’t changed the default installation settings: On Windows, the Discord application file will be located in the ‘C:\Users[USERNAME]\AppData\Local\Discord’ directory.
