• Open Settings and tap on Reminders > Notifications > enable the Allow Notifications toggle.
  • Go to Settings > your name > iCloud > Show All > enable the Reminders toggle.
  • Open Reminders settings > disable the Mute Notifications toggle > enable the Today Notification toggle.

Basic Fixes:

  • Disable DND and Focus Mode: DND and Focus Mode can help block notifications to ensure you’re not disturbed. However, this will also end up blocking some important Reminders app notifications. So, ensure DND and Focus Mode are disabled on your iPhone.
  • Check for software updates: Bugs in the software can cause certain iOS apps to not work properly. So, check and ensure your iPhone is updated to the latest iOS version.

Fix 1: Ensure Reminder App Notifications Are Enabled

If the notifications are disabled for the Reminders app, it won’t be able to notify you of the relevant reminders. In this case, open the Reminders app settings and ensure notifications are enabled. Here’s how.

Fix 2: Check iCloud Settings

Step 2: Select Scheduled Summary and disable the Scheduled Summary toggle.

Fix 4: Enable Time Sensitive Notifications

Marking your Reminders app notifications as time-sensitive will ensure all the notifications are delivered with the highest priority on your iPhone and remain on the lock screen for an hour. Do this if you keep missing the relevant notifications. Here’s how.

Step 1: Open Settings → Reminders → Notifications .

Step 2: Enable the Time-Sensitive Notifications toggle.

Fix 5: Check Mute Notifications and Today Notification Settings

If you have muted assigned reminders from within the Reminders app settings, they won’t be delivered to you on your iPhone. So, disable the relevant option. Additionally, you can also enable Today Notification to ensure you get reminders for all-day tasks. Here’s how to do it.

Step 1: Open Settings → Reminders . Disable the Mute Notifications toggle.

Fix 6: Enable Reminder App Location Access

If you have denied location access to the Reminders app, you might not receive reminders for location-based tasks. In this case, check and ensure location access is enabled for the Reminders app using the below steps.

Fix 7: Reset All Settings

If some iPhone settings are blocking the Reminders app notifications, you can reset all iPhone settings to get rid of them. This will only delete custom settings while keeping the device data safe. Follow the below steps to do it.
