• Ensure that Windows Firewall is not blocking Discord from connecting to the servers.
  • The Quality of Service feature in Discord can sometimes cause the “No Route” error, so it’s best to disable it.
  • Try changing the DNS server or resetting the IP configurations on your PC if the error persists.

Try Basic Fixes

  • Restart your router: Since the “No Route” error mainly occurs when there’s an interruption with your internet connection, you can start by restarting your router.
  • Whitelist Discord in your antivirus program: A third-party antivirus program can sometimes block Discord’s connection. To ensure that isn’t the case, you can either disable the antivirus program momentarily or dig through the antivirus program’s settings to whitelist Discord.
  • Turn off VPN: At times, using a VPN connection can also trigger the “No Route” error on Discord. You can temporarily disable the VPN connection to see if it fixes the error message.
