  • Check internet connection: Sometime poor internet connection can cause this issue.

Fix 1: Disable Data Saver in Spotify App

If your Spotify app has stopped showing album covers, we first recommend is checking whether the app can use your full internet bandwidth. Spotify app has a dedicated Data Saver option to limit your data usage. We suggest turning off this feature, as it might be why the album art is not showing on Spotify. Here’s how to disable it.

Open Spotify > Settings > Data Saver > Disable the feature .

Fix 2: Enable Background App Refresh

Turning Background App Refresh is recommended to keep the app content updated while it runs in the background. For Spotify album art not showing, even for local files, we suggest enabling this feature and seeing if that solves the problem.

Open Settings > Spotify > Enable Background App Refresh .

Fix 4: Reset Network Settings

The last solution we recommend is resetting your iPhone’s Network Settings . This will reset all your wireless network settings to their default values and should solve the issue. We recommend using this only when cannot benefit from the solutions mentioned above. Do note that you will have to set your network preferences again on your iPhone after following these step:

Step 1 : Open Settings on your iPhone.

Step 2: Tap on General .

Step 3: Scroll down to the bottom and then select Transfer or Reset iPhone .

Step 4: Tap on Reset and then select Reset Network Settings .
