• You need to ensure sufficient free storage remains in your Outlook account to receive new emails.
  • Go to Settings > Outlook Settings > Email > Junk email > Scroll to find Safe senders and domains > Click on Add to add the email address and save changes.
  • Go to Settings > Outlook Settings > Email > Rules > Check if any email rules for your Outlook account are preventing new emails.

Basic Fixes

  • Check outlook server status: Visit DownDetector and check whether Outlook servers are responding in your region.
  • Check internet settings: Connect to a 5GHz frequency band if you have a dual-band router.
  • Check Other email tab: Did you check the Other tab? Maybe, the email is in there. Another thing you can do is to sort the emails to find out where that missing email went.
  • Use Incognito window: Open an Incognito tab in your web browser and try logging in to your Outlook account.
  • Check blocked accounts: Check email accounts that you have blocked earlier.

Fix 1: Check Available Email Storage in Outlook

Visit your Outlook account > Settings > General > Storage > Tap the arrow icon next to Email storage to check the available storage.

Fix 2: Whitelist Email in Junk Folder

Outlook may have wrongly filtered the email to the Junk folder. You can whitelist the email ID to make sure this never happens again.

Step 1: Go to Settings > Outlook Settings > Email > Junk email > Scroll to find Safe senders and domains .

Step 2: Just click on Add to add the email address and save changes. You will find the option to whitelist mailing list IDs right below it.

You can also add the email ID to your Safe Senders list from inside the email itself. You will find the option under the three-dot menu icon on the right.

Fix 3: Check Outlook Rules For Your Email Account

Do you have an Outlook rule set up? Rules is probably one of Outlook’s most powerful features that allows you to decide what to do with incoming emails.

Step 1: Go to Settings > Outlook Settings > Email > Rules .

Step 2: Check the rules to find out if some or any condition could have changed the email’s destination or fate .

Step 3: Click on the Edit button (pencil icon) on the left side of the rule to view what it does to an idea.

Fix 4: Clear Browser Cache
