• Check your billing status in Prime Video to ensure no previous payment is due for your account.
  • Update the Display Drivers by going to Device Manager > Display Adapter > right-click on Display Driver name > choose Update drivers.
  • Open Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters > click on Run next to Windows Store Apps.

Basic Fixes:

  • Check device limit: You can use Prime Video to stream content on up to three devices using your account. You can deregister the device from your Prime Video account.
  • Disable VPN: A VPN connection can interrupt content playback for your region. We suggest disabling your VPN connection.

Fix 2: Update the Display Drivers

If the app is still not working, try updating the display drivers of your Windows 11 computer. It is possible that the current display driver version on your Windows 11 computer is not compatible enough to run the Prime Video app. Here’s how to update. Do note that Prime Video on Windows does not support 4K HDR content playback.

Step 1: Open Device Manager on your Windows 11 computer.

Fix 3: Run Microsoft Store Apps Troubleshooter

You can use the built-in troubleshooter for the Microsoft Store app on your Windows 11 PC to check and fix the problems with the Prime Video app, if there are any. Do note that Windows 11 Insider Build 25169 or higher will show Microsoft Store apps troubleshooter as Windows Store Apps.

Step 1: Open Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters .

Fix 4: Reset the Prime Video App Settings

The next solution is to reset all settings for the Prime Video app on your Windows 11 PC. This process will remove information like login details, watch history, and downloaded content from your computer.
