- Go to your Prime Video account > profile icon > Accounts and Settings > Prime Membership > Edit > View Payment Method.
- Sign in to Prime Video > Profile icon > Accounts and Settings > Your Devices > select device name > deregister if the device limit has been exceeded.
- Disable Low Power Mode and Low Data Mode on your Mac.
Basic Fixes
- Check internet connection: The speed of the internet connection should be optimal to watch content of the hi ghest quality on Prime Video.
- Force quit and restart: Click the Apple logo > Force Quit > choose Prime Video > Force Quit.
- Update or reinstall the Prime Video app: Installing the latest version of the app will remove any bugs causing the issue.
Fix 1: Check Your Billing Status

Step 3: Look for the Prime Membership section to spot your billing info.

Step 5: Click on View your Payment Method .

Step 6: Click on Edit Payment .
Step 7: You can add a new payment method or edit your previously selected payment details.

Fix 2: Check if Device Limit Has Exceeded
Step 1: Sign in to Prime Video > Profile icon > Accounts & Settings .
Step 2: Click on Your Devices from the top menu.

Step 3: Select the device you wish to deregister.
Step 4: Click on the Deregister button alongside the device name.

Step 5: Click on the Are you sure? button to confirm your choice.
Fix 3: Disable Low Power Mode and Low Data Mode
Both these features are meant to prevent battery and internet usage, respectively. This further affects the functioning of apps like Prime Video on your Mac, so we suggest disabling both of these features.
Step 1: Open Settings > Battery > disable Low Power Mode .

Step 2: Go back to Wi-Fi > Details > disable Low Data Mode .
