Basic Fixes:
- Check WhatsApp server status: It is always worth checking if WhatsApp is working as expected. To do this, go to Downdetector’s WhatsApp Server Status page and see if any outages have been reported. If so, wait until you use WhatsApp again.
- Force close and restart WhatsApp: Restarting an app will close all app functions and restart them from scratch. This can help solve issues related to any temporary bugs or glitches that might be preventing WhatsApp from working properly on your iPhone.
- Check storage space: If you have been facing issues like WhatsApp closing unexpectedly, check if you have sufficient storage space on your iPhone. Ensure you have at least 30% space available. If not, try reducing WhatsApp storage to create space.
- Check for app and iOS updates: Regular app updates help ensure your app stays bug and glitch-free while being compatible with your device. Similarly, updating your device helps solve software-related issues. So, update the WhatsApp app and install the latest iOS updates.
